The Austro – Iranian Conductor who has eventually moved to the first rank of the best conductor with his Sensational Substitution and exciting replacement, is the Music Director of the Opera Production of the international Classic Music Festival at the Kirchstetten Castle in northern Austria since 2001. consummate, and detailed in his preparation and rehearsals. In concert, he radiates

audience. With an Oriental heritage and European training steeped in the Viennese
tradition, Khalatbari is particularly noted for his performances of classical and Romantic Central European symphonic repertoire. He is a popular and very well-

Glazunov, Mussorgsky, Borodin, Bach, Bartok, Stravinsky, Milhaud and many others.
Off the podium, he is sincere, warm and approachable. A natural communicator,
Khalatbari is fluent in German, English and Farsi.

Pianist of Tehran Symphony Orchestra, assistant of Gorgin Moussian in the choir of Tehran Symphony Orchestra, pianist of the Farhangsarai Bahman Choir under Mehdi Shams Niknam, and assistant of Professor Thomas Christian David in the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra of the Austrian Cultural Institute in Tehran, among his activities during the years It was from 1367 to 1375.

Hooman Khalatbari finished his studies at Tehran Art University and the University of Music and Fine Arts in Graz/ Austria and graduated with honors in orchestral conducting and choir Conducting. Mr. Khalatbari attended master classes given by D. Russell Davis, I. Fischer, Thomas Christian David, and Zubin Mehta. 1988 – 96 he was the assistant for the Tehran Symphonic Choir and Orchestra. 1993 – 96 he assisted the BCC Choir and Orchestra and the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra at the Austrian Cultural Institute in Tehran. He performed as a Conductor, Soloist, Chamber musician, Accompanist, and coordinator in several Europa Cities, the USA, Canada, and Asia. His most recent performances were given as guest Conductor in Austria (Vienna & Graz & Salzburg & Linz & Kirchstetten) – Hungarian (Budapest & Szombathely) – Czech Republic (Prague, Brno & Olomouc) – Slovenian (Maribor) – France (Paris) – UK (London) – Canada (Vancouver & Calgary) and USA (Houston, San Jose, Chicago). At last in Zurich (Switzerland) and Göteborg (Sweden) and next in Toronto (Canada).

Plus Music Director of “Klassik Festival Schloss Kirchstetten” and Honorary Conductor of “ Virtuosi Brunenses “ Orchestra in Brno/ Czech and Principal Conductor of the Prague Metropolitan Philharmonic Orchestra” in Prague/ Czech (2014 – 2016), In 2021 Hooman Khalatbari together with Sina Alam founded “Shoosh Ensemble” who he is the musical director of this quartet. The “Shoosh Ensemble ” quartet plays works in the style of fusion music and world music.

It is worth mentioning that his performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 was shown in the documentary film “In Search of Happiness with Hooman Nakedness” (available on the YouTube channel), as well as the opening of the “One Italian Night” concert.
